Copyright & DMCA Policy

Last updated: July 9, 2026

We respect intellectual property rights and expect users to do the same. This policy explains how we handle claims involving copyrighted materials, uploaded assets, and downloadable course files.

1. Copyright ownership and permitted use

Unless stated otherwise, course materials, lesson text, recordings, graphics, exercises, and downloadable resources are owned by The Indian Startup or our licensors. Access to paid content is a limited, revocable license for personal use only. Copying, reselling, scraping, rebundling, or reposting content is prohibited.

2. Controls for downloadable and uploaded assets

  • Download links may expire and may require a valid authenticated session
  • Assets may be watermarked or fingerprinted to discourage redistribution
  • Access logs may record download events for fraud and abuse review
  • We may disable sharing, hotlinking, or public indexing of protected files

3. Copyright infringement notice

If you believe content on our site infringes your copyright, email support@theindianstartup.in with the subject line Copyright Notice. Include:

  • Your name and contact details
  • A description of the copyrighted work
  • The exact URL or location of the allegedly infringing material
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized
  • A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, under penalty of perjury

4. Counter-notice

If you believe material was removed by mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the same address. We may restore content where appropriate after reviewing the claim and any applicable legal requirements.

5. Repeat infringement and enforcement

We may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly infringe copyright, share protected downloads, or attempt to circumvent access controls.
